ONLINE TRAFFIC SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Eligibility Requirements
You may choose to attend Traffic Violator School for certain vehicle violations.  To be eligible for the Traffic Violator School Program, you must meet the following eligibility requirements below:

  • You have a valid driver's license.
  • You are not currently attending, and have not attended, a traffic school program for a citation issued within the last 18 months of the date of this current citation.  This includes DUI schools also.

WARNING:  If you are not eligible to attend traffic school, but do so anyway or sign up for traffic school and do not attend, the traffic school fee you paid will be forfeited and DMV will be notified of the conviction and it will be be reported on your driving record.

To sign-up for traffic school online, a valid MasterCard or VISA is required.  A state-mandated, non-refundable administrative fee of $32.00 plus a convenience fee of $6.00 will be charged to your credit card in addition to your citation (fine) amount.

After meeting the above eligibility requirements and enrollment has been confirmed.  By mail, you will receive a Traffic School Agreement with a disposition date.  You may attend only the San Francisco Superior Court Approved Online Traffic Schools, or any  DMV Approved Traffic Schools within the State of California.
