Editing your Browser Pop-Up Blocker
Examples for Internet Explorer and Firefox

1. Disable your pop-up blocker. Pop-ups must be permitted on your computer for all browsers.

If your browser is still blocking pop-ups even after you have attempted turn them off, in Internet Explorer, you will see a message similar to the one pictured below. To open the PDF files, please follow these steps:

If you see the message: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloaded files to your computer. Click here for options..."

  • Click on the message as shown above.

As shown in the image below, after the drop down menu appears, click on Download File.

You will now see two windows.

  • A File Download window allows you to Open or Save the document.
  • A pages download message telling you how many pages are in the document and how many pages you are downloading.
 
5. Click on the Close button next to the Adobe Reader icon to return to the Register of Actions screen.
 
Firefox
 

If your browser is still blocking pop-ups even after you have attempted turn them off, in Firefox, you will see a blank screen. There are two basic procedures you should follow to assure that court documents will open in your Firefox browser.

1.

From the Firefox Tools menu, click on Options.

  • Then click on the Content icon.

  • Remove the check mark from the line that reads: "Block pop-up windows."

  • Leave all other options selected.

  • Click on the OK button.

The first time you try to open a PDF document from our site you will see this Firefox bar. It contains an Options button that you will use to insert the IP address of our web site.

  • Clickk on the Options button.

  • Click on the line, "Edit Popup Blocker Options..."

You will now allow our site to open pop-ups in Firefox.

  • Place your cursor inside the box beneath "Address of web site:"

  • Insert this number: 207.215.212.22

  • Click on the Allow button.

  • Click on the Close button.
