On the third Wednesday of each month through June 2010, all Court operations will be closed in San Francisco’s four court facilities due to judicial branch budget reductions. Letter To Justice Partners
As a result of the unprecedented statewide fiscal crisis and judicial branch budget reductions, the Judicial Council has designated the third Wednesday of each month from September 2009 through June 2010 as court closure days under Government Code section 68106. All Superior Courts, the Courts of Appeal, and the  Supreme Court will be closed for the transaction of judicial business on these dates, beginning September 16, 2009.    see more………..
